WOW!! Came here because the place I bookmarked on yelp was closed on Sunday's. Def lucked out and had the best sushi experience ever!
I'm visiting from LA and I thought we had good sushi but damn! This place is hands down the best sushi I've had. Will be making another stop before leaving. Yes, it's that good.
Get the omakase and let the chef do his magic! -

We went here for our anniversary and oh wow, it's so delicious! We ordered uni tray and Omakase A, which has 14 nigiri sushi including 2 temaki, tamago and dessert.
I was really impressed that they were able to make me like me the brown rice that came with the nigiri since I usually hated brown rice sushi with a passion. Even though I still think it would be better with white rice, each piece of the fish in the nigiri was so fresh and delicious, my mouth watered again just thinking about that.
On the con side, I found the tamago a little bit too rich. The texture and taste was more chawanmushi than the tamago roll I'm used to but the homemade chocolate cake with the sour cream? Such a perfect finish for the whole meal.
Both my boyfriend and I were worried we would still be hungry but I was actually stuffed by the end of the meal. For an omakase, definitely worth the price
The service was very attentive and friendly. The environment was cosy. Overall, Sushi Jin becomes our favourite high-end sushi restaurant. -

I was shocked to find this place not being packed around 8:15p. Ordered the Omakase and I was blown away. Every piece was just perfect, one of the highest quality Omakase I've ever experienced. I wasn't rushed, in fact, the chef was waiting for me to finish each bite before preparing the next.
Cheers. -

This restaurant is incredibly authentic!! Makes you feel like you're in Japan even though I've never been. The dishes come out omakase style so you're only eating one dish at a time. The sashimi is extremely fresh and of the highest quality. 10/10 would recommend but is on the pricier end. The only downside is that the menu is quite limited. Otherwise, the overall experience was amazing.

Oh my goodness. Hands down the best sushi I've ever had, and that's saying a lot coming from a city like Vancouver where good sushi is everywhere! The chef was so maticulous with every piece. Artfully putting each sushi together with care and precision. The fish was fresh and delicious with thoughtful toppings or pairings. We ordered the Omakase which included both 'basic and special nigiris' but there was nothing basic about any of the pieces. Even the tamago was mind blowing. I'm so impressed, highly recommend!
